Jatinangor, 29/07/24 – Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science Universitas Padjadjaran welcomes 11 students from China, South Korea, Japan, and Malaysia as FPIK UNPAD Summer Program 2024 participants.
As part of this year’s program, the participants were introduced to one of Universitas Padjadjaran’s unique facilities on their first day, the ‘Odong Unpad’, a free campus shuttle service provided for students and lecturers. The initiative not only supports sustainable mobility on campus but also gives international students a firsthand experience of Unpad’s efforts to create an inclusive and environmentally friendly learning environment.
By reducing the need for individual transport on campus, the service contributes to lowering carbon emissions and creating a more student-friendly academic environment. For the international participants, this experience offered a glimpse of how the university integrates practical facilities into its academic ecosystem to improve student welfare.
Through the summer program, FPIK Unpad aims to strengthen academic collaboration and cultural exchange, while also showcasing facilities that enhance the student experience at Universitas Padjadjaran.
