Vision:
Menjadi Program Studi Perikanan yang unggul, berbasis riset, dan berdaya saing Internasional dalam pengembangan ilmu dan teknologi perikanan berkelanjutan di Perairan Daratan pada tahun 2029.
Mission:
- Menyelenggarakan pendidikan dan pembelajaran di bidangperikanan yang berkualitas, berbasis riset, dan berstandar internasional untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten, inovatif, dan berdaya saing global khususnya pada pengelolaan Perairan Daratan;
- Mengembangkan penelitian unggulan yang inovatif dan aplikatif dalam bidang ilmu dan teknologi perikananberkelanjutan pada ekosistem Perairan Daratan;
- Melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis hasil penelitian dalam pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan sumber daya perikanan Perairan Daratan secaraberkelanjutan;
- Membangun dan memperluas jejaring kerja sama nasionaldan internasional dalam bidang pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan dayasaing global.

Future Prospects
Fisheries Study Program, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) Unpad has conducted tracer studies of alumni regularly. The last time it was done was in 2017. In the same year, the Fisheries Study Program conducted a self-evaluation aimed at mapping existing capabilities and opportunities as well as their weaknesses and threats facing them. Based on tracer study and self-evaluation as well as through a series of seminars and curriculum facilitated by Universitas Padjadjaran, the profile of graduates of the Fisheries Study Program FPIK Unpad is formulated as follows:

- Fisheries Educator and Extension
- Fishery Consultant

The fisheries study programme currently has 36 permanent teaching staff with various academic degrees. As many as 3 teaching staff are professors. The number of lecturers who have passed the certification process other than professors to date is 31 lecturers. Thus, there are 91% of permanent lecturers of the Fisheries Study Program who have obtained certification. Curriculum

The curriculum in the Fisheries Programme (FP) is constructed based on Indonesian Standard of Higher Education, Minister Education and Culture Decree Number 3, 2020 (Permendikbud) as the guidance of bachelor degree and the competencies of fisheries sectors aligned to Indonesian Standard Competencies for Fisheries and Marine Sectors, Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Decree Number 53, 2018.
Module Handbook
The student learning process of FP namely the education stage and the final project completion stage. In the education stage, you are required to take all 138 credits (208.38 ECTS) courses including Students Community Service Experiences (KKNM). KKNM is an opportunity for students to gain knowledge and experience in the world of work. In the final project completion stage, you are required to take 6 credits (9.06 ECTS).
