Bandung, 15 Agustus 2024 – The New Student Admission Program (PMB) of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) Universitas Padjadjaran has taken a major step in strengthening health services during student orientation by collaborating with the Universitas Padjadjaran Clinic and Unpad Hospital. This collaboration produced a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Medical Teams in every faculty, including FPIK, ensuring a clear and coordinated referral system for students who require further medical attention during the PRABU 2024 activities.

The SOP, established under the coordination of medical experts, regulates the operational flow between Faculty Medical Teams and the University Medical Command (Markas Medis PRABU). By providing structured guidelines, the SOP ensures that every referral to clinics or hospitals is carried out effectively, minimizing risks and guaranteeing timely medical responses for students in need.

This initiative directly supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 on Good Health and Well-Being, as it prioritizes student safety and access to proper health services, and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals, as it demonstrates strong collaboration between faculties, university health services, and hospital institutions in creating an integrated medical response system. By embedding health care management into orientation activities, PMB FPIK not only safeguards students’ well-being but also reinforces the university’s commitment to sustainable and inclusive development.
