The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) at Universitas Padjadjaran has implemented a program that emphasizes its commitment to equal pay and the elimination of gender-based wage disparities. This program includes systematic measurement of salary structures and evaluation of job responsibilities for all staff, including internal employees, third-party workers, and interns.

FPIK’s workforce consists of 36 men and 29 women, reflecting a balanced gender representation across various positions. Through this initiative, FPIK aims to ensure that every worker receives fair compensation, free from gender discrimination, in accordance with professional standards and contributions.

This effort aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 8, which promotes inclusive, productive economic growth and decent work for all. With transparent pay measurement strategies and policies, FPIK hopes to serve as a model for other educational institutions in creating a fair, equitable, and empowering work environment for all employees.
