Data shows that from 2023 to 2025, women consistently made up more than half of admitted students, with female representation reaching 55.4% of the 410 students admitted in 2023, 57.1% of the 403 students in 2024, and 55.0% of the 484 students in 2025. This strong female presence highlights inclusivity and equal access to higher education at FPIK Unpad.
Graduation statistics also show encouraging outcomes. In 2023, female students accounted for 47.1% of graduates in the odd semester and 56.6% in the even semester. In 2024, the proportion increased to 49.4% in the odd semester and 61.3% in the even semester, suggesting higher academic completion rates among women.
The admission and graduation ratios indicate that female students are not only well represented in entering higher education but also succeed academically at levels comparable to or exceeding those of their male peers, aligning closely with SDG 5 principles.
In the odd semester of 2025, only one graduate was recorded, a female student, marking a transitional period before the upcoming even semester, yet still demonstrating women’s presence in academic achievement.
Overall, this data reinforces FPIK Unpad’s role in fostering an inclusive and equitable academic environment, where women continue to thrive in fisheries and marine science education, providing a strong foundation for preparing future leaders who will contribute to both academic excellence and sustainable development.
