The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPIK), Universitas Padjadjaran, continues to demonstrate its commitment to gender equality and inclusivity by providing comprehensive support schemes for women within its academic community.

As part of this initiative, FPIK Unpad has introduced various access solutions for female students and staff, including mentoring programs, scholarships, and other targeted assistance. These measures are designed to ensure equal opportunities, empower women in pursuing higher education, and encourage their active participation in the field of fisheries and marine science.

In addition to improving access, the faculty has also implemented a series of protective and responsive programs for individuals who experience discrimination from any party. These include strict measures to safeguard the confidentiality of personal identities, the establishment of safe spaces within the faculty, and the provision of dedicated facilities for consultation and counseling. Such programs aim to create a respectful, inclusive, and supportive academic environment where all members feel valued and secure.

Through these efforts, FPIK Unpad not only promotes the academic success of women but also sets a strong example of how higher education institutions can uphold principles of fairness, inclusivity, and human dignity.
