The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) at Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) actively upholds ethical labor standards by implementing programs to prevent forced labor, modern slavery, human trafficking, and child labor.
As part of this commitment, FPIK ensures that all employees work according to regulated working hours of 8 hours per day, with tasks and workloads assigned fairly and within each individual’s capacity. Responsibilities are carefully distributed to avoid overburdening any single employee, promoting a healthy and productive work environment.
These initiatives reflect FPIK’s dedication to safeguarding workers’ rights while maintaining operational efficiency, aligning with global standards for fair labor practices and SDG 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth.
