15/08/2024 -Advocacy and Assistance play an essential role in inclusivity in higher education, with faculties playing a key role in assisting and fighting for the rights of students from all backgrounds. The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK), through BEM KEMA FPIK, presents the Advocacy and Assistance program (FPIK Care Centre) as a solution to become a forum for addressing the needs and rights of students.

FPIK Care Center aims to create a better academic environment by providing a platform for FPIK Unpad students to voice their concerns and aspirations, as well as obtain the necessary information. With this facility, students can feel more supported and have access to solutions for their problems. The FPIK Care Centre focuses on reducing disparities and promoting equality in higher education.

The FPIK Care Centre provides essential information, including scholarships, midterm/final exam schedules, graduation procedures, re-registration procedures for new students, and campus policies (such as tuition fees) for faculty and students. FPIK Care Center also serves as a responsive platform for receiving and addressing student complaints and aspirations in academic settings. Through this advocacy program, FPIK implements an inclusive program that accommodates all students regardless of background. The FPIK Care Centre is a program that addresses inequality in line with the values of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
