Jatinangor, 3 July 2024– Two professors from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPIK), Universitas Padjadjaran, Dr. Emma Rochima and Prof. Dr. Zahidah, contributed as a speaker in the Pekerti Training Program, which was held for one week from 28 June – 2 July 2024.
During their sessions, both professors emphasized the importance of applying ethical values as the foundation of academic and professional practice, namely diversity, honesty, respect, and fairness. These values are expected to guide lecturers in fulfilling their roles as educators, researchers, and role models for students.
The Pekerti Training Program is a strategic initiative to enhance the pedagogical competencies of lecturers at Universitas Padjadjaran. The participation of Prof. Emma Rochima and Prof. Zahidah is expected to strengthen participants’ understanding of academic ethics, foster inclusive learning environments, and uphold integrity throughout the educational process.
