Jatinangor, 19 Agustus 2024 – The Think Green 9.0 program has officially returned as part of PRABU 2024, bringing renewed efforts to promote environmental responsibility among students of Universitas Padjadjaran. This year, the initiative focuses on reducing plastic waste by providing designated recycling bins for plastic bottles and cups throughout the PRABU area.
The presence of these facilities is designed to encourage students and participants to manage their waste responsibly, while also fostering greater awareness of sustainable habits in daily campus life. By making recycling more accessible, Think Green 9.0 contributes to a cleaner and healthier environment, supporting the university’s broader commitment to sustainability.
A representative of the organizing committee explained: “The return of Think Green reflects our dedication to shaping responsible behaviors within the student community. Through simple actions like separating plastic bottles and cups, we can create long-term positive impacts for both the campus and the environment.”
The initiative highlights the importance of waste reduction, resource efficiency, and collective action in addressing environmental challenges. By empowering students to take part in responsible waste management, PRABU 2024 not only serves as an introduction to academic life but also as a platform for cultivating values of sustainability and social responsibility.
