Jatinangor, 12 September 2024 – In line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) Universitas Padjadjaran continues to foster strong and accountable student institutions by implementing various programs that support student organizations and faculty-level activity units.
One of the key initiatives is the program BERDEKATAN (Bertemu Dekanat dan Bertanya), which serves as a platform for open dialogue between the Dean’s Office and students. This program encourages transparency, trust, and mutual understanding by providing students with direct opportunities to voice their concerns, share aspirations, and receive clarification on academic and organizational matters.
By holding BERDEKATAN alongside other supportive activities, FPIK UNPAD ensures that student organizations are not only heard but also empowered to function effectively and responsibly. These programs create an environment where decision-making is inclusive and collaborative, strengthening the relationship between faculty leadership and the student body.
Through these continuous efforts, FPIK UNPAD reaffirms its commitment to developing student organizations that are democratic, transparent, and impactful, reflecting the essence of SDG 16 in building strong, just, and effective institutions.
