Jatinangor, 30 Agustus 2025 – The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) at Universitas Padjadjaran is committed to providing and maintaining comfortable and safe facilities for students and the academic community. One of the important facilities owned by FPIK is a pedestrian pathway made of concrete covering an area of 221 square meters, located outside the faculty area, precisely to the west of FPIK Building 1. This pathway is well maintained by the Faculty and Universitas Padjadjaran, making it the main route used by students and staff when entering the FPIK area.
In addition to serving as the main walkway, this pedestrian path is also equipped with a campus shuttle bus stop area for the middle route (Code C). Khairunisa, a 2021 FPIK student, stated, “Along this pedestrian path, there is a campus shuttle bus stop area that greatly facilitates us to get off and continue our journey comfortably.”
Inside the FPIK area, there is also a pedestrian pathway made of paving blocks that runs along the side of Building 2. This path is designed to facilitate students in walking around the campus. However, further maintenance is required because some paving blocks are uneven, which may affect the comfort of students in carrying out their daily activities within the campus environment.
This well-maintained pedestrian facility is one of FPIK’s efforts to create a neatly organized, orderly campus environment that supports both academic and non-academic activities. The pathway not only facilitates access but also enhances the comfort and aesthetics of the FPIK campus environment.
