The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) at Universitas Padjadjaran continues to demonstrate its commitment to promoting decent work and economic growth, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8). In implementing outsourcing programs through third parties, including internship activities, FPIK ensures that every participant receives equal rights, including workloads that correspond to their skills and responsibilities.
This program emphasizes gender-neutral task allocation, providing all participants—both men and women—equal opportunities to contribute, learn, and grow professionally. By fostering a fair and inclusive work environment, FPIK strengthens a culture of professionalism while supporting SDG 8’s goal of inclusive economic growth and decent work for all.
Through this initiative, FPIK aims to serve as a model for other higher education institutions in protecting participants’ rights, enhancing service quality, and promoting sustainable employment practices through collaboration with third parties.
