The research highlights that improving the ability of fishers to interpret fishing ground maps, alongside better access to oceanographic information, is key to enhancing fishing efficiency while reducing dependency on fish-aggregating devices (FADs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The findings underline that effective implementation requires close collaboration between the Marine Fisheries Agency of Sukabumi Regency, the Palabuhanratu fishing port, and local fisher groups. By prioritizing training programs on oceanographic data and map interpretation, fishers can reduce fuel consumption, increase productivity, and strengthen their economic resilience. This effort is not only crucial for ensuring the sustainability of pelagic fisheries but also for supporting broader conservation and socio-economic goals in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driver power-dependence matrix of each element<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This research is strongly aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly <strong>SDG 14 (Life Below Water)<\/strong> by ensuring the sustainable use of marine resources and preserving fish stocks, while also contributing to <strong>SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) <\/strong>by improving food security through more effective fisheries management. Furthermore, the model supports <strong>SDG 13 (Climate Action)<\/strong>, as better fishing ground information enables fuel efficiency, thereby reducing carbon emissions from fishing fleets.
