One of the highlights is the presence of <em>The Oceano Caf\u00e9 &amp; Resto<\/em>, located at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK), which not only enriches campus dining experiences but also aligns with Unpad\u2019s broader plan to reduce parking areas and promote eco-friendly mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Situated just 200 meters from the Rectorate Building, <em>The Oceano Caf\u00e9 &amp; Resto<\/em> offers a unique marine-inspired atmosphere that reflects the faculty\u2019s identity. With aquariums filled with koi, balloon fish, and bettas, as well as outdoor seating including a <strong>ship-bow shaped gazebo<\/strong>, the caf\u00e9 blends comfort with creativity. It has become a favorite hangout spot for students, staff, and visitors in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The caf\u00e9\u2019s diverse and affordable menu further supports student needs. Local dishes such as gado-gado, pecel, pempek, and cireng sit alongside Western-style meals like steak and fried chicken. Popular snacks, including cilok, mendoan, and gyoza, are also available. To maintain affordability, the caf\u00e9 offers a <strong>daily combo meal package<\/strong>\u2014a main dish, rice, and mineral water\u2014for only IDR 20,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond dining, <em>The Oceano Caf\u00e9 &amp; Resto<\/em> symbolizes Unpad\u2019s efforts to optimize land use on campus. In line with the university\u2019s <strong>Green Campus Program<\/strong>, Unpad has developed initiatives to gradually reduce vehicle parking areas by converting empty spaces into <strong>green parks, gardens, and gazebos<\/strong>. This approach not only enhances campus aesthetics but also supports the reduction of private vehicle use, encouraging students and staff to shift toward bicycles, electric scooters, and walking.By integrating lifestyle facilities like <em>The Oceano Caf\u00e9 &amp; Resto<\/em> with environmentally conscious spatial planning, Unpad aims to create a healthier, greener, and more sustainable campus environment.
