This initiative is designed to improve energy efficiency and create a more comfortable and safe environment for learning and working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most noticeable upgrades is the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology into the lighting systems around the faculty\u2019s main building and gardens. Using strategically placed motion and light sensors, the system automatically controls lighting\u2014activating when movement is detected or when natural light is low, and turning off when it&#8217;s no longer needed. This automation has led to a significant reduction in electricity usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBy introducing smart building features, we\u2019re aiming to build a campus that is not only energy-efficient but also safer and more user-friendly. It reflects our broader commitment to green and sustainable campus development,\u201d said FPIK Dean Prof. Sc. Yudi Nurul Ihsan, S.Pi., M.Si.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking ahead, FPIK plans to expand the use of smart technology to other areas, including air conditioning systems and campus security infrastructure. These upgrades will allow for better energy management and enhanced monitoring capabilities across the faculty\u2019s facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This move underscores FPIK\u2019s dedication to leveraging modern technology to support sustainability goals.
