Jatinangor, November 24, 2024<\/strong> \u2013 The Student Association of Fisheries, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran (HIMIKAN FPIK Unpad) successfully held the National Seminar on Sustainable Fisheries<\/strong> as part of its annual flagship event, Fisheries Week 11<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now in its 11th year, Fisheries Week has become a long-standing academic tradition that provides a scientific platform for fisheries students to explore ideas, share insights, and strengthen their capacities. This year\u2019s seminar aimed to accommodate students\u2019 interests and potential in scientific development while broadening their perspectives on critical issues in fisheries and marine sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants enthusiastically followed discussions on Blue Carbon, Measured Fishing, and Fishery Waste Utilization<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For over a decade, Fisheries Week<\/strong> has served as an academic and scientific space for fisheries students at Universitas Padjadjaran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis national seminar is not only a discussion forum but also a medium for students to connect with policymakers and experts. We aim to sharpen their knowledge on sustainability issues and inspire their contribution to real solutions in the fisheries sector,\u201d Fhife Isfihany, project officer of Fisheries Week 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar also featured interactive discussions and Q&A sessions, allowing participants to engage directly with experts and broaden their academic and professional networks<\/p>\n\n\n\n
